Application Tips

Your application is the first step towards joining our company. Make yourself stand out from the crowd. Your application documents should include a covering letter, CV, certificates and supporting documents. Make sure they are complete and fully up to date.

Complete application documents include:

  • Covering Letter
  • Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Work References
  • Last School Report for Graduates and Applicants with Little Professional Experience

Please make sure that your application documents are fully completed. All incomplete applications will be rejected.

What Happens After We Receive Your Application?

If your skills match the requirements of the advertised job, you will be invited for an interview. After the personal interview, we will provide detailed feedback. Following the feedback stage, you will either be offered the job or notified that you have been unsuccessful.
 
If you decide to accept our job offer, your employment contract will be sent to our works council for approval and to clarify any outstanding employment questions.
 
We will then arrange a suitable start date with you and look forward to welcoming you to the MOTORTECH Team.

FAQs

How do I submit an application to MOTORTECH GmbH?

Select the link to the Job Offers, choose the desired job posting and follow the application process. Applications will be sent to the MOTORTECH GmbH Human Resources team for consideration.

What should I do if I am interested in several jobs?

At the conclusion of the application process, the career site will prompt the applicant to create a Candidate Home account where the applicant can then apply to multiple openings under one candidate account / profile.

What happens to my data?

Please reference the data privacy note available to applicants on the MOTORTECH website and career site link.

Can I submit an application directly by email?

Applications must be submitted online using the “Job Offers” link available on the MOTORTECH website.

Will making a telephone call increase the applicant’s chances?

Contacting the company with a telephone call will not increase an applicant’s chances for any open job postings. All applications need be submitted using the career website.

I cannot find a suitable job offer. Can I make an unsolicited application?

Unsolicited applications can be submitted to job@motortech.de. Applications will be evaluated, and responses will be sent to the applicant within 7-10 days.

I have forgotten my password; how do I get a new one?

Select the “Job Offers” link and then select the option to “Sign In” (located in the top right corner) on the next web page. A login screen will appear; select the option “Forgot Your Password”.

If the applicant did not create an account after the first application, they can select “Create Account” to associate their application with a candidate home account.

I have forgotten my username; how do I get a new one?

By default, the system will use the applicant’s email address as the username on the candidate account.

Can I interrupt the application process and then start again later?

Yes - the candidate can select “Save for later” and the system will register the progress made on the application.
